Job summary

Allied World is seeking a senior finance leader to head the financial analysis team in Australia, delivering strategic insights and rigorous governance. You will model, forecast, and report to support executive decisions, partner with senior leaders, and drive performance across the Australia platform.

You will oversee APRA filings, tax compliance, audits, and regulatory reporting, while strengthening controls and mentoring the finance team to a high standard of professionalism.

Qualifications

• CPA/CA qualification required with accounting/finance degree.
• Strong IFRS/AASB knowledge and IFRS 17 experience preferred.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Australia platform reporting (AASB 17, APRA, tax) accurately and on time.
• Maintain robust financial controls to mitigate misstatements and breaches.
• Lead APRA engagement and implement new standards across Australia.
• Collaborate with functions to ensure timely audit, tax, and regulatory filings.
• Provide guidance to finance team and foster a high-performance culture.
