About the roleWe’re seeking a skilled and strategic
Senior Finance & Planning Manager to help shape our financial future and drive our growth agenda. Reporting to the General Manager – Business Services, this permanent, full-time Senior Leadership Team role leads our finance function and offers a rare greenfield opportunity to transform financial processes, systems, and reporting.
In a fast-paced, owner-operated scale-up environment, you’ll be a trusted partner to the Executive and Senior Leadership Teams. With full accountability for financial management and FP&A, you’ll play a key role in evolving our finance capability as we grow from a small to medium-sized enterprise. You’ll lead improved management and revenue reporting, deliver data-driven insights, and ensure financial accuracy and compliance. Automating accounts receivable to drive efficiency and enable sustainable growth will also be a key priority.

How would you contribute to our success?- Develop and execute financial strategies to support long-term growth
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Lead financial planning, risk management, and cost optimisation
- Oversee strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards
- Lead and contribute to functional and cross-functional projects
- Strengthen internal controls and risk management processes
- Drive system and process improvements across finance operations
- Collaborate with auditors and regulators to ensure governance
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture
- Set clear goals and provide feedback to support development
- Promote collaboration and accountability across the team
- Deliver financial and operational insights to inform strategic decisions
What we are looking for | What will make your application stand out?- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field, with CPA, CA, CMIA, ACCA, or ACA qualification
- Extensive financial management experience, ideally in B2B (healthcare or software sectors preferred)
- Proven ability to manage complex finances across inventory, software, and services within a diverse portfolio
- 3+ years leading finance teams (AP, AR, accounting, payroll)
- Strong knowledge of AU GAAP, IFRS, and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated leadership in building high-performing teams
- Expertise in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic modelling
- Commercially minded with a track record of supporting business growth
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills
- ERP experience (SAP Business One ideal); advanced Excel (Power Query), Power BI, MS Office
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk mitigation skills
- High attention to detail and reporting accuracy
