Job summary

HCM Australia Pty in Melbourne seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead senior architectural guidance for a major Finance ERP transformation. You will partner with Finance and business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors and partners to drive architecture from inception through go-live.

The role requires delivering completed Finance ERP implementations and strong architecture governance. Hybrid working applies across multiple Australian locations with security clearance

Qualifications

• Eight+ years designing and delivering Finance/ERP solutions.
• Three+ years in senior architect roles (Enterprise/Domain/Principal).
• Direct involvement in Finance ERP implementations with go-live.
• Ownership of target states, roadmaps, governance artifacts.
• Understanding of Finance ERP risks and delivery challenges.
• Ability to translate between Finance, business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong vendor and governance engagement capability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Finance-domain architecture, target state and strategic roadmap.
• Translate business strategy, Finance requirements and technology considerations into coherent architecture direction.
• Establish architecture principles, patterns, standards, governance and design guardrails.
• Guide solution design and provide implementation assurance across the program lifecycle.
• Identify dependencies, risks, gaps and opportunities across business, technology and vendor workstreams.
• Advise senior executives and governance forums on architectural options and trade-offs.
• Influence Finance stakeholders, technology teams, vendors and implementation partners.
• Balance strategic direction with practical delivery, risk, cost and implementation constraints.
