Job summary

FinXL IT Professional Services is seeking a Senior Solution Architect - Enterprise Applications to drive architecture across a large ERP transformation for an enterprise client in the Melbourne region. The role involves leading architecture across Finance, Supply Chain, Retail, HR, and Data domains.

You will champion clean-core principles, guide SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and MDG implementations, and ensure secure, scalable integration patterns.

Qualifications

10+ years of dedicated experience leading complex ERP transformation programs.
Proven track record of SAP S/4HANA deployments, SAP BTP, and cloud/SaaS deployment models.
Hands-on experience with API-first, event-driven architectures and enterprise IAM frameworks.
Experience taking designs through Architecture Review Board (ARB) with trade-off analyses.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead architectural definition across Finance, Supply Chain & Logistics, Retail, HR/Workforce, and Data/Integration streams.
Author architectural deliverables such as Solution Outline Documents and Detailed Solution Architecture Designs.
Guide SAP-centric architecture leveraging S/4HANA, BTP, MDG, and SuccessFactors with clean-core principles.
Drive API-led integration and rationalise legacy point-to-point connections.
Prepare submissions for ARB and analyse total cost of ownership, risk, and licensing.
