Job summary

NBN Co ltd. is seeking a Senior Field Technician to join our field service team in rural Queensland. You will be on the ground delivering end-to-end service to homes and businesses, from installation through repair and maintenance, ensuring high-quality customer outcomes.

You’ll leverage your copper and fibre experience, work autonomously, and thrive in a dynamic, supportive environment with coaching and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current Driver’s License is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication in a customer-facing role.
• Autonomy and motivation to work in a field-based environment.
• Comfortable working to tight deadlines and travelling to field locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end field service to homes and businesses, from installation to repair.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot copper and fibre networks.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and problem-solving on-site.
• Work across rural QLD locations, meeting safety and quality standards.

You’ll collaborate with a supportive and inclusive team, with opportunities for coaching, mentorship and career progression at every step.**A bit about you**To thrive in this role, you’ll be an autonomous and motivated self-starter, with extensive experience with copper and fibre network assurance fault finding and installs. You’ll have an appetite to embrace a complex industry while learning and developing on the job.
