Job summary

Calvary Health Care is seeking a Category Manager for FF&E and Capital Equipment to lead procurement across furniture, fittings and medical equipment portfolios. The role handles complex, project-based sourcing, contracts and lifecycle management to support capital investment and safe service delivery.

You will partner with Facilities, Capital Works, Clinical and Finance teams to embed procurement early in projects, develop specifications, manage lead times and ensure clinical requirements are

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years' procurement experience with capital, FF&E or complex project-based procurement.
• Proven ability to lead high-value, multi-stage sourcing processes including RFT preparation and tender evaluation.
• Experience negotiating capital contracts with warranties and lifecycle management obligations.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement strategy and execution across FF&E and capital equipment portfolio.
• Develop category plans with project pipelines, market assessments and contract management frameworks.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing and tendering for high-value capital items with TCO analysis.
• Negotiate and manage contracts and supplier performance with term compliance and end-of-life planning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to embed procurement early in project planning and address clinical/operational requirements.
• Monitor spend, savings and KPIs while ensuring policy compliance.
