Job summary

Charter Diligence is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support a Federal Government data and technology environment. You will analyse complex datasets, develop dashboards in Power BI or Tableau, and implement data quality controls across enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst or similar.
• Strong SQL skills and experience analysing large datasets.
• Experience with data quality, validation and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, risks and actionable insights.
• Develop dashboards and reporting using Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.
• Write and optimise SQL queries for extraction, analysis and transformation.
• Build analytical datasets and data models for operational reporting.
• Translate business requirements into practical data and reporting solutions.
• Investigate data quality issues, anomalies and inconsistencies.
• Support data migration, including mapping, cleansing, testing and reconciliation.
• Improve data validation, quality assurance and governance processes.
• Automate manual reporting and data-intensive workflows.
• Document data definitions, business rules and analytical methodologies.
• Collaborate with business, technology, product and project stakeholders.
• Present complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support testing and validation of reporting and analytical solutions.
• Maintain appropriate privacy, security and information management practices.
