Job summary

fmswa in Western Australia’s North Coastal Wheatbelt invites applications for a capable Farm Hand to assist the Farm Manager with day-to-day farming operations across cropping, livestock, machinery and maintenance. You will work as part of an experienced team, show practical hands-on leadership, and help with planning, record keeping and safety compliance to support efficient, sustainable farming at Moora.

Qualifications

• Experience with broadacre cropping systems is preferred.
• Ability to lead, supervise and support farm staff in a practical environment.
• Strong problem-solving and adaptability to seasonal and operational challenges.
• Commitment to safety, OHS guidelines and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities with farm staff and onboard new/seasonal workers.
• Operate tractors and harvesters; assist with maintenance and reporting faults.
• Carry out tasks to established protocols with attention to safety and quality.
• Maintain accurate daily records of equipment use, crops and incidents.
• Take initiative to learn new techniques and farm practices.
• Contribute to improving efficiency and productivity amid changing priorities.
