Job summary

The Missing Link is seeking a Senior Security Engineer specializing in CrowdStrike Falcon for a contract engagement in Melbourne, Australia. You will own Falcon in production, build and tune detections, and extend coverage into cloud workloads using Terraform, Python, and Java integrations.

Collaborating with SOC and cloud teams, you will automate deployments, improve detection and response, and deliver repeatable configurations and integrations across endpoint and cloud security platforms.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike Falcon in production.
• Automation and integration work using Python and Falcon APIs.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and maintain Falcon sensors, policies, exclusions and health.
• Extend Falcon coverage across GCP compute and Kubernetes workloads.
• Build Terraform modules and deployment pipelines for repeatable configurations and cloud integrations.
• Develop Python automation and Java integrations using Falcon APIs and event streams.
• Integrate Falcon data with Google SecOps, ServiceNow and other approved platforms.
• Tune detections with SOC teams and improve response workflows.
• Troubleshoot coverage gaps and document runbooks and handover materials.
