Job summary

SoftLabs is seeking a Software Engineer with senior ETL and integration experience to lead IBM ACE/APIC projects. You will architect and implement messaging interfaces, ensuring secure, scalable exchanges across government-grade systems.

Hybrid work is available, with initial on-site collaboration at multiple Canberra/Brisbane/Melbourne locations, followed by flexible arrangements as project needs allow.

Qualifications

Cyber security knowledge aligned with PSPF/ISM and NIST.
Experience with IBM ACE and IBM APIC in integration projects.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

Define and document messages and transformation requirements with data management.
Design and implement service interfaces, integration logic and XML schema design.
Support the enhancement and development of new products and releases.
Collaborate with development teams to maximise interoperability and reduce overhead.
Work with TLS/PKI and security standards within IS/gov environments.
Develop monitoring, logging, auditing and testing tools for integrations.
Produce technical documentation and perform peer reviews.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
