Job summary

Morson Edge Australia is seeking a Senior Estimators and Estimating Manager to lead the end-to-end tender process for NSW projects, delivering detailed estimates, BOQs and supplier comparisons for $5M-$30M ranges across D&C, ECI and construct-only contracts.

You will review documents, manage subcontractor pricing and procurement strategies, and collaborate with design and delivery teams to develop winning tender strategies across newbuild, refurbishment and fitout projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' estimating experience, ideally within a commercial head contractor.
• Proven experience independently managing tenders across newbuild, industrial, education, healthcare and/or refurbishment projects.
• Strong understanding of D&C, ECI and Construct Only procurement models.
• Excellent commercial acumen, cost planning, negotiation and risk management skills.
• Ability to lead complex tenders and contribute to strategic bid decisions.
• Proficiency in Cubit, EstimateOne and/or Procore advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end tender process, from initial review through to submission
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs and subcontractor comparisons
• Review tender documentation, identify scope gaps, commercial risks and opportunities
• Manage subcontractor and supplier engagement, pricing negotiations and procurement strategies
• Oversee RFIs, tender clarifications and submission documentation
• Identify value engineering opportunities to deliver competitive and commercially viable tenders
• Collaborate with senior management, design and delivery teams to develop winning tender strategies
