Job summary

Precruitment seeks a Senior Estimator for a Queensland Government client in Townsville. You will lead and support a team of estimators, delivering complex projects and high‑risk programs to ensure compliant, accurate and competitive estimates.

You will apply strong building knowledge, manage stakeholders and timelines, and mentor staff to achieve high‑quality delivery of infrastructure projects within a government framework.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience compiling and managing complex estimating projects.
• Strong knowledge of building construction and maintenance practices.
• Thorough understanding of legislative, regulatory and contract requirements.
• Proven ability to lead, support and manage a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and client relationship skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver projects on time.
