Job summary

Credwell is seeking an experienced Senior ESD Consultant to lead sustainability projects and grow our Energy & Sustainability team. This role blends project leadership, client engagement, mentoring, and business development within a multidisciplinary consultancy.

To be considered, you must hold NatHERS accreditation and have 5+ years' experience delivering BASIX, Section J DTS, J1V3, NatHERS, NABERS, and Green Star projects. Flexible, hybrid working arrangements are offered.

Qualifications

• NatHERS Accredited Professional
• 5+ years' experience in ESD or sustainability consulting
• Strong experience delivering BASIX, Section J DTS, J1V3, NatHERS, NABERS, and Green Star projects
• Experience using BERS Pro, HERO, IES VE, or similar software
• Understanding NCC energy efficiency requirements and sustainability rating tools
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and build client relationships
• Excellent communication and report writing skills
• Mentoring and developing junior consultants
• Green Star Accredited Professional or equivalent highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of ESD consulting projects across multiple sectors.
• Prepare/review BASIX Certificates, Section J DTS Assessments, J1V3, NatHERS, NABERS, Green Star submissions, and related modelling.
• Provide expert advice on NCC energy efficiency and building performance outcomes.
• Liaise with clients, architects, certifiers, builders, and authorities.
• Conduct sustainability audits and site inspections to verify compliance.
• Lead client meetings, presentations, and technical workshops.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to business development.
