Job summary

Team Global Express is seeking an experienced Manager, Workplace Relations & Compliance to lead complex employee relations matters in a dynamic, unionised environment. You will provide expert ER/IR guidance, manage investigations, and coach leaders while ensuring compliance with Australian legislation and enterprise agreements.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing complex Employee and Industrial Relations matters.
• Strong workplace investigation and case management capability.
• Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, awards and enterprise agreements.
• Experience working within a unionised environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.
• A pragmatic, commercially focused approach with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the business.

Responsibilities

• Leading complex workplace investigations, including misconduct, grievances, bullying and policy breaches.
• Providing trusted ER and IR advice to leaders on complex people matters.
• Coaching leaders through performance, disciplinary and workplace issues.
• Interpreting employment legislation, enterprise agreements, awards and policies.
• Representing TGE in Fair Work Commission and other industrial matters where required.
• Building strong relationships with People teams, leaders and employee representatives.
• Contributing to continuous improvement across ER practices, governance and capability.
