This role emphasizes zero-harm HSE culture, strategic hiring, and workforce planning to build depth across the team, with a focus on mining, resources, government clients, and cross-state collaborations in VIC/SA/WA.

Qualifications

• 20–25+ years experience in Environmental Approvals.
• Experience with strategy, business growth and developing/retaining technical talent.
• Demonstrates high quality in technical performance and assurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee strategy, pursuit, management and delivery of major projects.
• Foster Technical Excellence within WSP’s Ecology & Environmental Approvals Unit.
• Support formulation and delivery of Expertise/Technical Excellence strategy and training programs.
• Lead growth of client relationships and portfolios across VIC, SA and WA markets.
• Lead and role model a zero-harm HSE culture and ensure safety obligations are met.
• Support strategic hiring and workforce planning to build depth and resilience.
