Job summary

Future Generation Joint Venture (FGJV) is seeking an Environment Advisor to oversee day-to-day governance of site environmental management for the Snowy 2.0 project in the NSW Snowy Mountains. The role focuses on maintaining a robust EMS and ensuring compliance with the Environmental Protection License and client specifications.

The position requires qualifications in environmental management, a drivers licence and a White Card, with strong communication and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and support to the construction management team to ensure compliance with statutory FGJV and client environmental obligations.
• Implementation of the Environmental Management Strategy, EMPs and subsidiary systems documentation.
• Communication of HSSE issues and standards.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of area environmental inspections and audit schedules.
• Undertake and participate in environmental inspections and initiatives, including weekly rainfall inspections and audits.
