Job summary

Qantas is seeking a Senior Environment Manager to lead environmental compliance across a portfolio of owned and leased properties in Australia and internationally. You will guide governance, risk management, and environmental remediation programs, partnering with Legal, Commercial Airports and Group Property.

You will build strong regulator relationships, deliver environmental outcomes through a team, manage budgets, and drive industry best practice in a large-scale corporate setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in contaminated land management or environmental risk roles.
• Proven ability to manage complex environmental risks and remediation projects.
• Experience building regulatory relationships and regulatory compliance programs.
• Strong budget management and financial planning skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement with regulators, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Experience leading teams in large, complex organisations.
• Degree in Environmental Science or related discipline required.
