Job summary

SEE Group is seeking a Senior Engineering Surveyor to join its Civil Infrastructure and Urban Development teams in the Logan region. The role is full-time and based on-site, collaborating with project delivery teams to ensure timely, accurate outcomes and continuous data integrity across survey processes.

• Tertiary qualification in Surveying or Spatial Science.
• Current Drivers Licence.
• Background in Survey processes.
• Experience managing multiple projects.
• Strong numerical accuracy and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of Engineering principles and project delivery.
• Computer literacy with 12D.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Import data into system for drafting of final plans.
• Update and keep current set out and/or models and data.
• Convert digital data and models to GPS file.
• Accurately upload and maintain data in survey instruments and other plant and equipment.
• Monitor and track that machines have current software and load upgrades as required.
• Review and assess plans for accuracy against markings and project specifications onsite.
• Plan and coordinate survey set out considering project continuity and machinery/contractor use.
• Conduct all computer-based calculations prior to site arrival.
• Comply with SEE Group Integrated Management System policies and procedures.
• Be proactive in coaching, mentoring and training staff; identify future growth opportunities.

The Opportunity

SEE Group have a great career opportunity available for a Senior Engineering Surveyor to join our highly professional and skilled Civil Infrastructure and Urban Development teams. These are full-time roles based predominantly in the wider Logan area. You’ll work closely with teams across project delivery to ensure timely and accurate project outcomes.

Responsibilities

Import data into system for drafting of final plans.

Update and keep current set out and or models and data.

Convert digital data, and models to GPS file.

Be positive and proactive in their approach to the coaching, mentoring and training of relevant staff and identify and develop staff within the department for the benefit of the organisation and to meet future growth and needs of the company.

Essential Skills and Attributes

Tertiary qualification – Surveying or Spatial Science (desirable)

Current Drivers Licence

Background in Survey processes.

Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and maintaining focus on priorities.

Demonstrated numeric accuracy and analytical skills.

Knowledge of Engineering principles and experience in actual project delivery

Computer literacy, particularly experience working with 12D.

Ability to work unsupervised.
