About the Role

As a Senior Engineer, youwill:

Provide expertadvice on engineering aspects of developmentapplications.

Review and assessinfrastructure plans, ensuring compliance withCouncil’s engineering standards.

Inspectconstruction works to ensure quality andconformance.

Collaborateacross disciplines and represent the team in keystakeholder meetings, including pre-lodgementdiscussions.

What You Bring

1. Qualifications &Experience

Degree in CivilEngineering (recognised university)

Eligibility formembership with Engineers Australia

White Card (orwillingness to obtain)

C ClassDriver’s Licence

2. Strong Organisational & ProjectManagement Skills

Ability to managemultiple, complex projects with autonomy

Experiencedeveloping operational procedures and processimprovements

3. Technical Expertise

In-depthknowledge of subdivision and developmentengineering

Familiarity withplanning legislation (e.g. Planning Act 2016) and technicalstandards

Experienceassessing and approving engineering plans, inspectingworks, and applying compliance standards

4. Communication & InterpersonalSkills

Clearcommunicator who provides practical, solution-focusedadvice

Committed todelivering high-quality customer service and stakeholderengagement

Proven ability tolead by example, mentor team members, and foster aculture of collaboration and continuousimprovement
