Job summary
Westpac in Sydney is seeking a Senior Engineer, Contact Centre Platforms to design, engineer and implement cloud-native contact centre platforms and services. The role emphasizes DevOps, AWS, CI/CD with Jenkins, Terraform, and scripting (Python/Node.js).

Qualifications
- Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS services, security and governance.
- Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines; Jenkins deployments.
- Hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform; scripting in Python/Node.js/JSON.
- Experience deploying Amazon Connect in a large organisation.
- Contact Centre design and engineering in complex environments; SIP/SDP/RTP/WebRTC.
Responsibilities
- Design, engineer and implement cloud-native contact centre platforms.
- Validate technical designs and configure scalable components.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and code quality reviews.
- Assist testing, deployment and cutover to the new platform.
- Prepare support documentation and train operations teams.
- Drive continuous improvement and stay current with emerging technologies.
