Job summary

Canberra Health Services in the Australian Capital Territory invites applications for a Specialist in Cardiology – Electrophysiology. This staff/senior staff specialist role is based in a modern tertiary cardiology service offering advanced EP care and ablation, with a commitment to teaching, research and patient-centred care.

The position supports the ACT's health service network, including the EP catheter lab opened in 2024, with flexible working conditions and generous leave provisions.

Qualifications

• Hold Specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
• Meet credentialing requirements and receive an Endorsed scope of clinical practice from the Medical Dental Appointments Advisory Committee (MDAAC).
• Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrophysiology and complex ablation procedures as part of a tertiary cardiology service.
• Contribute to teaching, research, service innovation and patient-centred care within CHS.
• Collaborate across ACCU, CCL and outpatient cardiology to provide comprehensive care.
