Job summary

Canberra Health Services seeks a Specialist in Cardiology - Electrophysiology to join the staff as a Senior/Staff Specialist on a full-time, permanent basis. The role includes leading electrophysiology services, delivering advanced ablation procedures and contributing to teaching and research within a tertiary cardiology service.

The position offers a comprehensive package and flexible working conditions, with options for conjoint academic appointments with ANU.

Qualifications

• Hold Specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
• Meet credentialing requirements and receive an Endorsed scope of clinical practice from the MDAAC
• Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist cardiology care with a focus on electrophysiology and complex ablation procedures.
• Provide leadership within the cardiac electrophysiology service and contribute to teaching, research and service innovation.
• Oversee and develop a high-quality clinical program across ACT and surrounding regions.
• Collaborate with interventional and imaging services to support comprehensive cardiac care.
