Job summary

Equans ANZ is looking for a skilled electrical technician to perform preventative and reactive maintenance on critical electrical infrastructure across South Australia. You will work with UPS, generators, ATS/STS, and LV switchboards, while building strong client relationships and traveling for interstate projects as required.

The role requires an Electrical Licence, Certificate III in Electrotechnology, White Card, and a current driver's license, with strong fault-finding and maintenance

Qualifications

• Electrical licence and Certificate III in Electrotechnology required.
• White Card and current driver’s licence required.
• Experience with UPS, generators, ATS/STS, LV switchgear desirable.
• Ability to travel across South Australia for project work.

• Preventative and reactive maintenance of electrical systems.

Job description

Join Equans' Technical Services Team to work on critical electrical infrastructure across South Australia. This role offers the opportunity to move beyond standard electrical maintenance and gain exposure to advanced systems including UPS, generators, ATS, STS, switchboards, critical power systems and essential infrastructure. You'll work on a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, telecommunications and data centre clients, with autonomy, technical variety and regular travel across South Australia, with occasional interstate project work.

Key responsibilities

• Preventative and reactive electrical maintenance
• Fault finding and diagnostics across complex electrical systems
• Minor installations and repairs
• Supporting electrical shutdowns and planned maintenance
• Working on UPS, generators, ATS, STS, ACBs and LV distribution systems
• Building strong relationships with clients while delivering exceptional service

About you

• Electrical Licence
• Certificate III in Electrotechnology
• White Card
• Current Driver's Licence
• Full Australian working rights
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
• Ability to work independently and manage client relationships
• Experience within data centres, telecommunications facilities, UPS or generator systems, critical power environments, LV switchboards and shutdowns
• Working at Heights and EWP licences
