Job summary

ACCIONA Mechanical & Electrical in Australia seeks a Senior Project Engineer with strong technical capability in electrical systems and construction delivery. You will develop detailed work packs, refine engineering deliverables, firm up quantities, and optimise sequencing to drive efficient project execution.

Reporting to the project leadership, you will lead cross-functional teams, ensure CMS compliance, manage schedule risks, and align with budget and client expectations while upholding

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree (or similar).
• Minimum 6 years' experience in construction with extensive experience in electrical installation in process power plants.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of engineering project management principles.

Responsibilities

• Developed CMS and construction methodologies ensuring constructability, safety, temporary works compliance, and integration of contractor solutions.
• Coordinated cross-functional engineering, construction, and commercial teams to resolve technical challenges and implement practical solutions.
• Prepared and maintained project execution plans, resource schedules, labour histograms, and delivery strategies aligned with milestones and budgets.
• Managed critical path activities by identifying schedule risks, evaluating procurement and logistics, and mitigating delays to maximise productivity.
• Directed construction engineering activities, ensuring methodologies were implemented and regulatory compliance maintained.
