Job summary

ComAp Pty Ltd in Adelaide seeks a Senior Panel Builder to hands-on build, wire and independently test electrical control panels to Australian Standards. Role has no people management; focus on quality and applying expertise to support the workshop team.

You'll read schematics, use AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN, liaise with engineers and project managers, and work overtime when needed. The Adelaide workshop offers training and a path to long-term career within ComAp's global engineering network.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and independently testing electrical control panels.
• A current South Australian electrical licence is mandatory.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Solid grounding in Australian Standards for panel construction.
• Good PC skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Build and wire electrical control panels to Australian Standards from schematics and drawings.
• Independently test panels, including functional testing and fault diagnosis.
• Own the quality of your builds and maintain accurate documentation.
• Act as the go-to person in the workshop for technical guidance and fault-finding.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers and technicians to keep builds on track.
