Job description

Are you an experienced Electrical Estimator with a background in industrial automation and process control? This senior role gives you the chance to work on projects integrating complex electrical systems across diverse industries.

As Senior Electrical Estimator, you’ll prepare accurate and competitive estimates for automation and control system projects, working with process instrumentation, MCCs, switchboards, and control systems. Your work will ensure tenders are technically accurate, commercially competitive, and deliverable.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed estimates for industrial automation, process control, and electrical projects
• Review and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and technical drawings
• Source and evaluate supplier products & pricing
• Identify cost efficiencies, risks, and value-engineering opportunities
• Collaborate with project and engineering teams to ensure seamless handover and accurate budgets
• Mentor and support junior estimators

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience in estimating industrial automation, process control, or electrical contracting projects
• Strong knowledge of switchboards, MCCs, instrumentation, and control systems
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Commercial acumen and negotiation skills with suppliers and subcontractors
• Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office tools
• Excellent communication, accuracy, and time management
