Core Talent partnered with a major electrical contractor to appoint a Senior Electrical Engineer into their Perth team. The role focuses on major building projects, providing engineering expertise across design, coordination, procurement, construction and delivery.

The successful candidate will have strong electrical building services experience, be contractor-facing, and capable of delivering complex packages across hospitals, universities and commercial developments in WA. Perth-based role.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong experience in electrical building services and major commercial construction.
• Contractor-side delivery understanding from ground up.
• Experience on hospitals, universities, commercial buildings, education, retail, data centres or similar.
• Strong electrical design and technical capability with exposure to Revit, AutoCAD, PowerCAD, ETAP.
• Understand Australian Standards and NCC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing, coordinating and developing electrical designs, calculations and technical documentation.
• Providing engineering and technical support throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Working closely with Project Managers and site teams to resolve technical and constructability issues.
• Coordinating with consultants, builders, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
• Supporting design coordination, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
• Ensuring electrical engineering deliverables comply with Australian Standards, NCC requirements and project specifications.
• Identifying engineering solutions that improve constructability, efficiency and project outcomes.
• Taking greater ownership of engineering delivery as your position develops within the business.
