Job summary

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering Team in Ascot, WA. You will deliver electrical design and project execution across mineral processing plants, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and maintaining high documentation standards.

The role requires a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical), 6+ years' experience in mining projects, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) required.
• 6+ years' experience in a similar role.
• Proven capability in digital engineering tools and 3D CAD modelling.
• Experience leading technical input on mining projects to Australian standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current National Police clearance
• White Card
• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights

About Us

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is a leading process engineering consulting and contracting company that specialises in providing high quality engineering design and construction services to the mining and mineral processing industries.

The Opportunity

We are on the lookout for experienced Senior Electrical Engineers to join our Engineering Team working alongside a multidisciplined team to deliver outstanding results across various projects in the mining and minerals industry

Based out of our Ascot office you would work on various projects across Australia across a variety of commodities ( gold ,copper, iron ore etc) with regular site visits depending on project requirements

A Typical Day Will Consist Of

• Project design and execution for mineral processing plants
• Provide specialist engineering expertise and ensure robust change control processes and documentation standards are followed
• Collaborate with other disciplines to produce high-quality project deliverables for technically complex designs
• Provide mentoring and act as a leader within the Engineering team
  
  

About You

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical)
• 6 + years’ experience in a similar role
• Proven capability in digital engineering tools and a thorough understanding of 3D CAD modelling
• Experience leading technical input into projects and working with major mining clients to Australian standards
• Strong communication/interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Current National Police clearance
• White Card
• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights
