Job summary
Downer EDI Limited's Energy & Utilities division is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Protection team. You will lead the design, validation and testing of HV substation protection schemes, drawing on IEC 61850 and protection relays expertise across 11 kV–500 kV assets.
Based in Adelaide, Brisbane or Melbourne, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to interpret scopes, deliver compliant engineering artefacts and support project delivery through hands-on testing and
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years in power systems engineering.
- Chartered status or eligibility for RPEQ/Chartered.
- Experience with HV substation protection design.
- Experience with IEC 61850-based systems.
