Job summary

ServiceStream is seeking an experienced A Grade Electrician aiming to become an Electrical Inspector in Tasmania. The role focuses on inspecting, auditing and verifying electrical installations to ensure compliance with standards, with opportunities for training in high-voltage and hazard inspections.

Qualifications

Licensed Electrical Practitioner with current electrical licence.
Minimum 5 years post-electrician experience.
Strong knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 and Tasmanian safety legislation.
Excellent communication and planning skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Conduct inspections of electrical infrastructure across Tasmania.
Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and regulatory requirements.
Identify defects and provide guidance on standards.
Investigate electrical shock and fire incidents.
Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain records.
Support quality assurance and continuous improvement.
Liaise with contractors and regulatory bodies.
Promote and maintain strong safety culture.
