Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Electrical Modeller to develop detailed 3D electrical models for Melbourne’s rail infrastructure. You will use Revit MEP, AutoCAD and other tools to ensure designs are coordinated and constructible, aligned with project requirements and Australian standards.

You will work with electrical engineers and multidisciplinary teams from concept through detailed design and construction, contributing to a transformative rail project for Melbourne’s growing communities.

Qualifications

• Associate Diploma, Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Engineering or related qualification.
• Experience as Electrical Designer/Modeller in transport, rail, or major infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
• Experience modelling electrical systems for building services and rail infra.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D electrical models and documentation using Revit MEP, AutoCAD and other platforms.
• Coordinate electrical systems including power, lighting, communications and station services.
• Prepare high-quality drawings in accordance with Australian Standards and project specs.
• Collaborate with engineers and design teams to deliver design solutions from concept to construction.
• Participate in BIM coordination, design reviews and interdisciplinary workshops.
