Job summary

KBR - Kellogg Brown & Root Pty Ltd is seeking an Electrical Designer/Modeller to support Melbourne’s major rail infrastructure projects. You will develop 3D electrical models and design documentation using Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and other digital tools, ensuring coordination and constructability in line with project requirements.

You will collaborate with electrical engineers and multidisciplinary teams from concept to construction, delivering drawings and documentation to Australian standards

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification (Associate Diploma / Diploma or Advanced Diploma).
• Experience as Electrical Designer/Modeller in rail, transport, or major infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with Revit MEP and AutoCAD; ability to produce build-ready electrical models/drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D electrical models using Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate electrical design from concept through to construction.
• Prepare and issue high-quality drawings meeting Australian standards and project specs.
• Model and coordinate power distribution, lighting, communications, security, and earthing systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in BIM coordination reviews.
• Manage and deliver allocated electrical discipline work packages; resolve modelling issues.
