Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation seeks an experienced OHS Leader to develop, implement and manage safety plans across major construction, installation and commissioning projects. You will lead site inspections, audits, risk reviews and investigations, oversee high‑risk activities, and partner with the EHS team to drive safety culture and compliance.

Responsibilities include management of SWMS and permits, stakeholder engagement with clients and subcontractors, and ongoing improvement of OHS performance

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Construction safety qualifications and training.
• Incident investigation and auditing qualifications are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage OHS requirements across major construction, installation and commissioning projects.
• Develop, implement and maintain project-specific OHS Management Plans and safety documentation.
• Provide practical OHS leadership and advice to Project Managers, Site Managers and subcontractors.
• Conduct site inspections, safety audits, risk reviews and compliance assessments.
• Review SWMS, risk assessments, permits and subcontractor safety documentation.
• Lead incident investigations including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Monitor safety performance and OHS reporting to management.
• Drive workforce engagement through toolbox talks and safety meetings.
