Job summary

Raytheon Australia seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Advisor to join a fast-moving Defence-focused team. The role is hybrid in WA, Perth area, supporting compliance, risk management and continuous improvement across diverse programs.

You will partner with leaders, employees and contractors to drive best-practice EH&S outcomes, implement policies, and contribute to a safe, healthy and sustainable workplace. Travel may be required; baseline security clearance eligibility is expected.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.
• ICAM Lead Investigator certification.
• Construction White Card.
• C Class Driver's license.
• Eligible to obtain baseline security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with health and safety stakeholders, including representatives and contractors.
• Maintain compliance with WHS Act 2011 and jurisdictional requirements.
• Conduct health and safety assessments (risk, JSA, ergonomic, manual handling, hazardous substances).
• Collaborate with site leaders to address EH&S issues and conduct investigations to identify causes and corrective actions.
• Contribute to policies, plans, procedures and quality reporting.
• Promote and coordinate EH&S engagement programs and initiatives.
• Travel may be required to fulfil the role.
