Job summary

Goodstart Glenorchy is seeking a Senior Educator/Room Leader to take charge of a dedicated room and lead a team of Educators. You will deliver exceptional educational programs and work closely with the Centre Leadership Team to continually improve teaching practices.

You will prioritise safety and inclusivity, ensuring learning experiences meet every child’s needs while aligning with the EYLF and NQS standards. This role is based at Goodstart Glenorchy in Tasmania.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
• Current TAS Working with Vulnerable People Check.
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training, completed via Geccko platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead your own room and a team of Educators to deliver educational programs.
• Collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and Educational Leader to observe and improve teaching practices.
• Ensure safety and inclusivity, tailoring learning experiences to all children.

Education

Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
