Job summary

The Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) invites applications for a Senior Executive Officer, Education Governance. This role leads education governance planning, coordinates committees and decision-making, and supports portfolio management across the Education, Learning and Assessment portfolio.

You will lead a team, drive governance improvements, and collaborate with senior leaders, Fellows and staff to deliver strategic outcomes in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Significant governance, portfolio or program management experience.
• Experience leading committees, governance processes or secretariat functions.
• Ability to manage teams in a complex organisation and coordinate planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation and continuous improvement of the education governance model.
• Provide governance support and secretariat functions for education bodies.
• Coordinate decision review processes under policy By-Laws and ensure consistency.
• Support executive team in education strategy, planning and portfolio activities.
• Oversee annual planning cycles, portfolio reporting and performance monitoring.
• Lead and develop a team responsible for governance and planning functions.
• Build strong relationships with senior leaders, Chairs, Fellows and staff.
