Commonwealth Bank of Australia seeks an experienced professional to join the ECR Model Risk & Governance team. You will help govern Financial Crime and Fraud models, coordinate validations, and manage governance sessions with senior stakeholders.

This hands-on role emphasizes governance discipline with data science understanding; you will read model documentation, interpret results, and build dashboards (Power BI) while collaborating with model owners, validators and policy teams to drive timely

Qualifications

• Exposure to model governance or risk management roles within financial services.
• Understanding of financial crime concepts such as transaction monitoring.
• Ability to read model documentation and interpret results.
• Experience with dashboards and reporting using Power BI or similar.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsabilités

• Govern the model suite and lifecycle across ECR-owned Financial Crime and Fraud models.
• Coordinate governance activity and ensure timely actions and escalations.
• Maintain dashboards and reporting on model estate health and performance.
• Translate technical outcomes into clear, decision-ready insights for leadership.
• Support internal audit, assurance and regulatory outputs with robust artifacts.
• Plan, run and facilitate governance sessions with senior stakeholders.
• Develop governance maturity through playbooks, templates and SOPs.
