Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Ecologist to join the Sydney team. The role involves fieldwork, preparing environmental reports, and supporting ecological impact assessments for major projects.

You will engage with the Technical Executive of Ecology and the national Ecology team, contributing to nature-positive solutions and compliance across NSW. Qualifications

• Requires degree in Environmental or Natural Science (ecology, botany, biology).
• Experience conducting ecological assessments in NSW bioregions preferred.
• BAM accreditation would be highly regarded.
• Experience with field survey design and mapping is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ecological surveys and vegetation assessments using BAM.
• Prepare environmental reports to support environmental approvals and impact assessments.
• Assist with project planning, deadlines, and budgets.
• Develop project scopes and proposals with colleagues and clients.
