Job summary

Arcadis Sydney, NSW, is seeking a Senior Ecologist to lead field surveys, identify threatened species, and mentor junior ecologists within a growing national team. You will deliver technical reports and contribute to a diverse project portfolio across NSW, VIC, and QLD.

Qualifications

• Degree in ecology or related field with relevant consultancy experience.
• Experience in NSW flora and/or fauna identification and assessment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Post-graduate experience including report delivery and project management.
• Experience leading and mentoring ecologists and providing technical support.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical ecological advice and report deliverables on complex projects.
• Conduct field data collection, surveys and mapping including threatened species surveys.
• Support National Ecology Lead in maintaining a sustainable pipeline through business development.
• Contribute to proposals and raise awareness of Arcadis' ecological capabilities.
• Manage projects or components with QA and client relationship development.
