Job summary

Kleinfelder Australia is seeking a senior/associate ecologist to join our Brisbane ecology team. You will lead flora and fauna surveys across diverse habitats in Queensland, work with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to regulatory assessments.

Qualifications include a relevant degree and 5–10 years in environmental consulting, with strong reporting and client-relations skills. Flexible/hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Degree in ecology or environmental science or related discipline.
• Experience in flora and fauna surveys and ecological reporting.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct flora and fauna surveys to regulatory standards.
• Prepare ecological assessments, vegetation and offset plans.
• Develop client relationships and assist with business development.
• Support project managers to meet timelines and budgets.
• Mentor junior staff and share knowledge within the team.
