Job summary

AECOM’s environmental practice is dedicated to helping industries, clients and governments meet their environmental responsibilities while protecting the natural environment. We provide advisory and technical services to ensure compliance, manage impacts, and reduce risks, including permits and approvals, decommissioning and restoration of contaminated sites, and tackling climate resilience.

Qualifications

Demonstrated technical knowledge in flora, fauna and ecological communities in Queensland (6+ years).
Ability to lead project delivery, engage with clients, and mentor a high-performing team.
Experience in environmental approval processes and impact assessment reporting.

Responsibilities

Ecological impact assessment and offsetting for a range of projects and scale.
Lead ecology surveys and evaluate results, develop mitigation strategies.
Provide high-quality technical reporting and client service.
Identify efficiencies and digital solutions to improve collaboration.
Support strategic growth, technical excellence and innovation in ecological assessments.
Assist with project management including technical and financial performance.
