Job summary

Arup seeks an ecologist with a strong botany focus to lead complex ecological assessments and botanical surveys across Victoria. You will work with clients, regulators and multidisciplinary teams to deliver positive project outcomes through technical delivery and fieldwork.

You will contribute to major road, rail, water and energy projects while growing leadership capabilities and mentoring other ecologists within the team.

Qualifications

• Recognised tertiary qualifications in Ecology or Botany sciences or related discipline.
• Field strengths in identifying flora and vegetation in Victoria.
• Desirable accreditation in Victoria Vegetation Quality Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Lead ecological assessments, botanical surveys and fieldwork programs.
• Provide ecological and botanical advice to clients and regulators.
• Prepare technical reports and contribute to major infrastructure projects.
• Mentor other ecologists and participate in project delivery.
