Job summary

DFP Recruitment is seeking a Senior Drupal Developer to design, build and support accessible and secure web applications. You will work with UX, product, project teams and an external vendor to scope technical requirements, develop, test and deploy Drupal solutions, and optimise AI-assisted development workflows.

You will contribute to reusable components, design systems and frontend capabilities, ensuring high-quality, maintainable code and delivery across government-standard environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Drupal website development.
• Proficiency in HTML, UX, PHP, MySQL, Linux, NGINX, and WCAG 2.2 AA compliance.
• Proficiency with CSS and pre-processors such as Sass or LESS.
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and frameworks such as jQuery.
• Experience developing and supporting Drupal in an AWS environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain modern web applications using Drupal and contemporary content management system practices.
• Collaborate with business analysts, designers, architects and backend development teams to deliver high-quality user experiences and integrated digital solutions.
• Contribute to the development of accessible, secure and maintainable applications that align with agency standards and user needs.
• Support the development and ongoing enhancement of reusable components, design systems and shared frontend capabilities.
• Work collaboratively across business and technology stakeholders to ensure projects run efficiently, with strong communication and team collaboration.
