Job summary

DFP Recruitment is seeking a Senior Drupal Developer to build and support accessible, secure, user-centered web applications. You will work with UX, product and project teams and an external vendor to scope technical requirements, develop, test and deploy Drupal solutions.

Key duties include developing with Drupal modules, collaborating across analysts, designers, and backend teams, and enhancing reusable components and design systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Drupal website development, including backend and frontend site development and configuration, themes, views, content type definition, search configuration, taxonomy development, and testing.
• Proficiency in HTML, UX, PHP, MySQL, Linux, NGINX, and knowledge of Digital Service Standard and WCAG 2.2 AA compliance.
• Proficiency with CSS and preprocessors such as Sass or LESS.
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and frameworks such as jQuery.
• Experience developing and supporting Drupal in an AWS environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain modern web applications using Drupal and contemporary content management system practices.
• Collaborate with business analysts, designers, architects and backend development teams to deliver high-quality user experiences and integrated digital solutions.
• Contribute to the development of accessible, secure and maintainable applications that align with agency standards and user needs.
• Support the development and ongoing enhancement of reusable components, design systems and shared frontend capabilities.
• Work collaboratively across business and technology stakeholders to ensure projects run efficiently, and have effective communication skills, and be a team player.
