Job summary

Workshop28 is seeking an experienced Draftsperson on the Gold Coast to join our dynamic joinery team. You will produce detailed shop drawings used directly on the factory floor and on-site, with a background in cabinet making or joinery.

Proficiency in Microvellum and AutoCAD (or similar) is essential, alongside strong communication and collaboration with project managers and suppliers. We offer competitive salary commensurate with experience and the opportunity to contribute to high-end marine

Qualifications

• Trade background in cabinet making or joinery
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
• Proven experience producing detailed shop drawings
• Good supplier knowledge and basic procurement skills
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and team collaboration
• Professional communication skills and a proactive attitude

Responsibilities

• Create detailed setout drawings using Microvellum or AutoCAD-based software
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Factory Foreman and production staff
• Liaise with builders, architects and suppliers from concept to completion
• Support procurement and material take-offs
• Provide accurate and buildable drawings to ensure smooth manufacturing and installation
