Job summary

John Holland is seeking a Digital Engineering Manager to lead DE management on a Sydney-based project. You will drive workflows, standards, and integration of multidisciplinary models, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations and client needs.

The role requires expertise in ISO19650, Uniclass/OpenBIM, and leading-edge DE tools such as Revit and Navisworks. You will develop training, manage resources, and champion DE capability across projects.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Built Environment or Architecture.
• Substantial experience in Engineering Consulting or Construction, including Digital Engineering Management on large multi-discipline projects.
• Experience with ISO19650, Uniclass, OpenBIM and related DE standards.
• Experience using Revit, Civil3D, Navisworks and ProjectWise.

Responsibilities

• Establish and improve Digital Engineering workflows.
• Lead tender and project DE matters.
• Maintain the Digital Engineering Management Plan (DEMP).
• Develop DE strategy and adopt new technologies.
• Oversee multidisciplinary model integration to create a cohesive master model.
• Audit models for accuracy against standards.
• Deliver training on DE tools and processes.
• Coordinate communication among stakeholders.
• Stay updated with BIM technologies and methodologies.
• Ensure information management and a single source of truth for data.
• Monitor DE process performance and drive improvements.
• Ensure DE activities meet regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with clients to meet DE deliverables.
• Manage resources (software, hardware, personnel).
• Promote John Holland's DE capability in the industry.
