Job summary

Aquent is partnering with a Melbourne-based retailer to hire a freelance Digital Designer for an initial month-to-month contract, starting Monday 9 November, with potential extension. You’ll contribute across web graphics, email marketing, social content, and short-form video edits in a fast-paced in-house team.

The role requires versatility to move between web assets, EDMs, social campaigns, and brand collateral, with hands-on Adobe XD and intermediate Adobe Premiere Pro skills.

• Proven background delivering assets for web, social, and email marketing.
• Hands-on with Adobe XD; intermediate proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Responsibilities

• Web & E-Commerce assets: design, adapt, resize promotional creative and banners.

• Video Editing: cut footage, add graphics/music, export assets for web/social via Premiere Pro.
• Brand Collateral: assist with corporate docs and collateral as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Web & E-Commerce Assets: Design, adapt, and resize promotional creative and banners for various online placements.
• Email Marketing: Design and build EDMs utilizing Adobe XD.
• Social Content: Create engaging digital assets for organic social feeds, stories, and paid digital campaigns.
• Video Editing: Cut raw footage, incorporate graphics/music, and export optimized assets across web and social formats using Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Brand Collateral: Assist with ad-hoc corporate documentation and auxiliary creative collateral as required.

Candidate Profile

• Core Design Toolkit: Demonstrated background delivering commercial assets for web, social, and email marketing.
• Software Proficiency: Hands‑on experience with Adobe XD and intermediate proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Versatility: Comfortable balancing multiple deliverables and switching priorities within an active in‑house team.
