Job summary

HCLTech Australia seeks a highly skilled Senior DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and maintain resilient platform services across cloud and on‑prem environments. You will drive reliability, reduce toil, and champion engineering excellence with strong emphasis on SRE practices, CI/CD, IaC, observability, and incident management.

You will define SLOs/SLIs, manage hybrid infrastructure, implement security best practices, and mentor engineers while collaborating with development,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or infrastructure roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure, Kubernetes/AKS, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools.
• Deep understanding of SRE principles (SLOs, SLIs, error budgets) and incident management.
• Proven experience with incident response, root cause analysis, and on-call operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for non-prod and prod environments using Azure DevOps and Git.
• Define, measure, and maintain SLOs/SLIs and error budgets for critical platform services.
• Manage hybrid infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments with focus on automation and scalability.
• Lead incident response, perform root-cause analysis, and drive post-incident reviews.
