Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its digital technology team. You will automate processes, support CI/CD systems, and uplift platform infrastructure to deliver secure, scalable services for customers and communities.

You’ll collaborate with multiple tech teams, work with GCP, AWS, Terraform and container tooling, and operate in a hybrid Burnley office environment with agile practices guiding delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Python and NodeJS within DevOps context.
• Experience with CI/CD principles and source control workflows.
• Hands-on with Docker containers and security scanning tools.
• Extensive cloud experience (AWS, GCP; Azure advantageous).
• Familiar with Terraform/CloudFormation and infrastructure as code.
• Experience monitoring with CloudWatch, CloudTrail and observability tools.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment with on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Automate processes and support CI/CD pipelines across platforms.
• Maintain, uplift and secure application platform infrastructure.
• Collaborate with teams to migrate from legacy platforms.
• Build at scale and deploy rapidly in production environments.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum setting and participate in on-call duties.
