Job summary

Innova Search is partnering with a well-established SaaS scaleup in Australia to recruit an experienced DevOps Lead Engineer. You will own the AWS platform end to end and lead the DevOps function while staying hands-on.

You will manage CI/CD, infrastructure as code with Terraform, and observability, ensuring security and reliability across a containerised ECS environment. Hybrid work 2–3 days in Sydney with a strong salary package.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced SaaS product firm.
• Background in infrastructure and networks with hands-on systems.
• Several years of production infrastructure on AWS with on-call experience.
• Containers in production at scale (ECS) and drift management with Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Own the AWS platform end to end and lead the DevOps function.
• Manage CI/CD from merge to production with staged rollouts and rollbacks.
• Implement observability standards, dashboards, and SLOs for services.
• Drive reliability, security, incident response, and postmortems.
• Own Terraform codebase across multiple environments and state handling.
